Hi there! We are the grade 2/3 class of Roberta MacAdams school. We’re the members of the Covid Happiness Makers or CHM for short! CHM is here to improve our quality of life here at RMA and in the greater community! We're part of a United Way initiative called Denton’s Make Your Mark on Poverty. We’ve been learning about quality of life in our class. Quality of life is the sense of safety, comfort, security, health and happiness that a person has in their life.
Covid-19 has been hurting almost everyone’s quality of life this year! I know it’s hard to stay happy when I can’t even see my grandparents!
That’s where we come in! We’re making weekly videos to brighten your day every week! We’ve come up with each and every one of them ourselves and they’re sure to increase your quality of life! So stay tuned!
We’ve also got some CHM packages to give out to people who may be experiencing a loss of comfort or security because of the pandemic. These packages will include grocery gift cards, chapters gift cards, books, small toys, and winter clothing like gloves and hats.
You can nominate your friend, family member, even yourself if you think you could use one of our CHM packages!
